CNN


On September 11, 2001, CNN break news of what would prove to be the September 11 attacks. In fact, as a result of the large amount of news on that day, CNN began running a news ticker, now standard in most broadcasts. CNN report was like this (September 11: Chronology of terror, 2001) by 8:45 A.M. a hijacked passenger jet, American Airlines Flight 11 out of Boston, Massachusetts, crashes into the north tower of the World Trade Center, tearing a gaping hole in the building and setting it afire. At 9:03 A.M. a second hijacked airliner, United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston, crashes into the south tower of the World Trade Center and explodes. Both buildings are burning. At 9:43 A.M. American Airlines Flight 77 crashes into the Pentagon, sending up a huge plume of smoke. Evacuation begins immediately

At  8:52am the covered news was: World trade center damaged; unconfirmed reports say a plane has crashed into tower.
At  9:21 am the second plane crashes into World Trade Center. After 2 minute the FBI investigating reports of foul play in World Trade Center plane crashes, according to the Associated Press.
 At 9:32 am the sources tell CNN one of two planes that crashed into World Trade Center was an American Airlines 767. After 10 minute the President Bush calls plane crashes at World Trade Center a terrorist act.
At 1:27 pm what they come of that America under attack that the terrorists struck the United States Tuesday morning in harrowing, widespread attacks that included at least three commercial jet crashes into significant buildings.
 In the first attack, a plane hit the north tower of the World Trade Center in Manhattan shortly before 9 a.m., followed by another plane into the second tower about 20 minutes later. So after that the both towers later collapsed. About an hour later, a plane crashed into the Pentagon, part of
which later collapsed. American Airlines told CNN that its lost two planes in "tragic accidents:" Flight 11 from Boston with 81 passengers and 11 crew aboard and Flight 77 from Washington Dulles airport with 58 passengers and six crew aboard. Both planes were en route to Los Angeles. President Bush cancelled an appearance in Florida to return to Washington, calling the crashes "apparent terrorist attacks" and "a national tragedy."
